Zoom Optics

Our Zoom Optics provide an advanced solution for precise control of laser beam caustics in the processing or manufacturing of components using laser beams.

Thanks to its features, it enables maximum control and adaptability of the laser beam for all common laser light sources in industrial applications. The optics feature automated movable lenses, allowing for variable focal lengths that can be adjusted during the process. This flexibility enables the laser beam's focus diameter to be adjusted smoothly and continuously up to four times its size. This provides precise control over the intensity and processing area of the laser beam, facilitating efficient processing and manufacturing of components with variable track widths, for example. Additionally, the zoom optics offer the capability to defocus the laser beam. The lenses of the zoom optics are water-cooled, ensuring efficient heat dissipation and stable processes even at high laser powers of up to 8 kW.

The design of the zoom optics allows for seamless integration into existing laser processing systems. Thanks to its compact form factor, it minimizes additional space requirements.
